MVP.Phoenix is the first team to be directly invited to the MLG World Finals. Six invited teams and two qualified ones will compete for the $250,000 prize pool, between October 16-18, at the Ernest N. Morial Center in New Orleans, LA.

The Korean team came in a commendable 7th-8th place at The International 5, walking away with $827,002. MVP.Phoenix have recently completed their roster to include a combination from both of the organization’s Dota 2 teams – MVP.Hot6ix and MVP.Phoenix.

MLG World Finals
The MLG World Finals, Major League Gaming’s 100th event, will take place between October 16-18, at the Ernest N. Morial Center in New Orleans, LA.
The event will feature the best Dota 2 and Call of Duty teams in the world, competing for a total prize pool of over $500,000.
Tickets are available for prices ranging from $49 to $199.
MLG have concluded their most recent event – the MLG Pro League Season 2 LAN finals hosted at X-Games 2015 – on June 8th. Ninjas in Pyjamas won the title and $66,899 prize money, after defeating Alliance in the Grand Finals, 2:1.

Pioneer of the competitive gaming industry, MLG has held many tournaments throughout the United States and Canada, awarding over $13.5 million in prize money. Major League Gaming competitions have been broadcast on television, ESPN.com and other broadband sites. The MLG World Finals will be the organization’s 100th gaming event.
