Manila Major Regional Qualifiers Groups and Streams

The Manila Major Regional Qualifiers groups have been revealed, giving a glimpse into the first phase of the regional qualifiers scheduled between May 3-6. All four regions will be competing over the course of four days, and one team from each region will qualify for the Manila Major set to take place between June 7-12th, at the Mall of Asia in Manila, Philippines. Team Secret, Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses, MVP.Phoenix, Wings Gaming, ViCi Gaming Reborn, Fnatic, OG, compLexity, Na’vi, LGD Gaming and Alliance have already been directly invited to the event.

While the second round of the Manila Major Open Qualifiers is still taking place today and tomorrow, the Manila Major Qualifiers groups are starting to take shape.

Valve has released the groups for each of the four regions.

Each Region consists of two Best of 2 Round Robin groups of five teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to a Best of 3 double elimination bracket, with the round robin first place teams facing the second place from the other group. Grand Final is Best of 5

The winner of each region will be invited to The Manila Major.

In addition, Valve has also organized and released official streams for each of the groups. English, Russian and Chinese streams for all of the games in each of the four regions will be covered.

The Manila Major

The third Dota 2 Major will be held in Manila, Philippines, at the Mall of Asia – an indoor arena within the SM Mall of Asia complex, in Manila, Philippines. A rather new, state-of-the-art building, the arena has only been inaugurated in 2012 and has a seating capacity of 16,000 for sporting events, and a full house capacity of 20,000.

The total prize-pool of $3,000,000 is a fixed amount and PGL will be in charge of production.
