Manila Major NA Qualifiers standings: Digital Chaos reign

The Manila Major NA Qualifiers standings for day 2 are in. Digital Chaos, Dragneel, Shazam and FDL have advanced into the playoffs. The double elimination brackets will kick off May 5th, at 20:00 CEST.

The Manila Major NA Qualifiers standings are in after a long and eventful day has concluded for the day 2 group stage. The four regional teams that will advance have emerged.

Digital Chaos, Dragneel, Shazam and FDL have all progressed to the playoff stage of the event.

Both qualified teams – Dragneel and FDL have prevailed through the group stage and find themselves in the playoffs.

Digital Chaos continued to dominate their group, snatching the first place position from FDL and ending the round robin phase without suffering a single loss. FDL’s loss to Digital Chaos dropped them into the second place position for both teams to advance to the playoffs.

Dragneel and Shazam both rose in ranks with their wins, giving them the first and second place positions respectively.

EverNovaS finished the event without obtaining a single victory and ending last in their group and region.

The matches resume on May 5th, at 20:00 CEST, and are expected to be intense as the teams continue their quest towards the second stage of the qualifiers – the double elimination brackets.

Manila Major NA Qualifiers standings day 2 Group A

Shazam swept through Kingdom and NoT Today 2:0 then split the series with Dragneel, allowing the team to slide into the first place position and advance to the playoffs.

Dragneel cleaned up NoT Today 2:0 and split their series with Shazam, allowing them to retain their second place spot and advance into the playoffs.

Having lost their series against Dragneel and Shazam, NoT Today wiped through Team Freedom but it was only enough to give them a third place finish and eliminate them from the event.

Team Freedom lost their match against NoT Today and split the series with Kingdom, while Kingdom stayed in last place.

Manila Major NA Qualifiers standings day 2 Group B

Digital Chaos continued to destroy their opponents, wiping through EverNovaS and FDL. With their victories, the NA/European mix ended with a staggering eight points and did not drop a single match in the round robin phase. The team advanced easily to the playoffs.

The qualified team, FDL, lost their only match of the day against DC and retained their second place spot. Their five point status was enough to advance to the playoffs.

Infamous split their series with Enemy GG. Enemy GG’s last match was canceled due to the results having no bearing on the outcome for playoffs and thereby kept them in fourth position.

EverNovaS lost their matches and without landing a single victory in the round robin phase, they finished in last place with 0 points.

Manila Major NA Qualifiers format

• The ten teams have been divided into two Round Robin groups of five.
• Top two teams will advance to a double elimination bracket.
• Round robin first place teams will face the second place from the other group
• Grand Final is Best-of-five.
• The first place team from the Manila Major EU Qualifiers will advance to the main event in Manila, Philippines.
