18:45 CET: StarLadder iLeague StarSeries playoffs standings, quarter finals Upper Brackets: Team Secret vs Alliance
The first game of the series started off to be relatively even and quiet. Once the ball got rolling for Team Secret, they just bulldozed through the Swedish team to take the victory. All of Team Secret’s players were on point, making it difficult to pinpoint one player that carried the others. Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao played a perfect Gyrocopter and Aliwi “w33” Omar had a perfect game as well. Clement “Puppey” Ivanov’s dazzle is something to brag about often with impeccable timing and plays. Team Secret who had been looking less than in form, rose up during the match and reclaimed their image and reputation.

Alliance had the game with an early lead for the second match, determined not to be sent home early.Gustav “s4” Magnusson’s dominant performance on Queen of Pain and Jonathan “Loda” Berg’s stellar TerrorBlade were a pleasure to watch. However, it would be Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg on Lone Druid that would steal the show for fans. Their push power and teamwork was enough to make an amazing comeback and bring the Swedish team a victory to tie the series.
The third game of the series was all Alliance’s. The Swedish team convincingly took the victory from the Europeans in just over 30 minutes. Jerry “EGM” Lundkvist had a perfect game as did Admiral Bulldog on his infamous Lone Druid.

Evil Geniuses were able to wipe out Vega Squadron with a two win knock out series.
The first game was relatively even to start, but with both Artour “Arteezy” Babaev and Saahil “UNiVeRsE” Arora leading in farm and having incredible games, they took the first game in 40 minutes. The two players were also the highlights and key factors in the second match of the series as well. Although the game was much more intense and back and forth than the previous one, UNiVeRsE continue to have a stellar performance, landing amazing Chronosphere’s with his Void and perfect item choices by Ateezy on Loin Druid. Arteezy broke the longstanding record for highest GPM on the hero. The team was able to pull quickly ahead with their teamwork, individual skill and perfect execution and edged out the CIS team.
