April 10th, 20150The teams and schedule for the final ESL One Frankfurt regional qualifiers have finally been announced. Among the five revealed teams, Invictus Gaming, last year's defending champions. Eight teams will vie for the solo spot allotted to the region.
April 8th, 20150The SouthEast Asian region is the first to claim a champion to send to the Red Bull Battle Grounds 2015 LAN finals, in California. Team Malaysia dominated the qualifiers, eliminating Can't Say Wips, MVP.Phoenix and Rave.
April 5th, 20150ASUS.Polar earned the second spot for the ESL One Frankfurt main event. After a solid 2-0 victory over Team Empire, in a best out of three series, ASUS.Polar joins Team Secret, Evil Geniuses, ViCi Gaming, and Alliance. Team Empire will have one more chance to fight for the remaining European LAN spot.
April 3rd, 20150Visa and immigration issues continue to plague the Dota 2 scene. Rave Dota has withdrawn from the MLG Columbus tournament due to insufficient amount of time to obtain the required visas. Ironically, the team had previously withdrawn from StarLadder StarSeries XII, so that they could have enough time to obtain the visas for MLG.
April 1st, 20150Team Malaysia (MY) has secured the SouthEast Asian spot for the StarLadder StarSeries XII LAN playoffs and finals to be held at Dreamhack Bucharest, between April 24-26. MY will be representing SEA, after winning the three game grand finals for the region versus MVP.Phoenix.
March 28th, 20150The Dota 2 SEA region has had an action packed week, receiving a lot more coverage and attention these days. Teams like MY and Rave have been giving fans hopes of having top professional contenders that will challenge the likes of the favorite top teams in the other regions. The Dota 2 SEA region scene can grow and improve.
March 27th, 20150Signature.Trust and MVP.Phoenix will be the two teams from the second SEA group to advance into the second group stage of StarLadder StarSeries XII. Nvidia Aces and G-Guard have been eliminated for the season.
March 25th, 20150Team Tinker has secured the North-American spot for the StarLadder StarSeries Season XII LAN playoffs and finals to be held at Dreamhack Bucharest, between April 24-26. IG, LGD and ViCi Gaming are still putting up a fight in the Chinese division, while The International titleholders, NewBee, have been eliminated.
