Lee “Forev” Sang-don has signed on as the official substitute for MVP.Phoenix. According to teammate Kim “QO” Seon-yeop, forev will be playing core and Kim “Febby” Yong-min will return back to the support role – indicating that Forev will assume a primary role on the team. No official word has been released by the organization regarding which player he will be replacing.

Lee “Forev” Sang-don has signed on as the official substitute for MVP.Phoenix, pleasing fans of the Korean lineup with his return. MVP has been directly invited to the Boston Major and fans view his return as a source of strength and synergy for the team.
Although listed on the official roster page as a substitute, it appears that the core player will return to his former role in the team and Kim “Febby” Yong-min move to support. The report, coming from Kim “QO” Seon-yeop is an indication of a more primary status and one other player becoming inactive.

Forev parted ways with Team Secret merely days ago. He was replaced with Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann, making his debut with the team today at ROG Masters Asian tournament in Malaysia.
Fall Major substitutes
The community has already have seen two instances of the substitute swapping prior to this.
Adam Erwann Shah “343” bin Akhtar Hussein join Execration for the Boston Major, moving Rafael “Rapy” Sicat Palo into the substitute role earlier this month.
compLexity has turned to Jaron “MonkeysForever” Clinton to substitute for the team for the Northerna Arena BEAT Invitational LAN this weekend in Montreal. The North American team is down one player after Justin ‘jk’ Rosselle separated from the team during the series against Team NP for ESL One Genting 2017. It has not been revealed if MonkeysForever will continue in the role for the Boston Major or not.
The new substitute role allows changes to take place effortlessly. Any player that is not attending the major may join any team already confirmed as the substitute. Primary and substitute players can swap roles as long as the primary player agrees.

MVP.Phoenix rounded out their successful year with a commendable 5th-6th place at TI6.
Following the event, the MVP Phoenix roster retained three of its longstanding, core members – Kim “QO” Seon-yeop, Kim “Febby” Yong-min and Kim “DuBu” Doo-young, as the organization heads into the Fall Major 2016 season.
Joining the three Koreans were two known members of the organization – Kim “Velo” Tae-sung and Lee “Reisen” Jun-yeong from MVP.Hot6ix – taking the place of Lee “FoREV” Sang-don and Pyo “MP” No-a who both joined Team Secret for the new season.
Reisen is a Korean player who began his career in 2013 with a team called Eyes of Tiger Hammer. He joined the MVP organization in November 2013. Velo is an Australian player who started out with Spac_Creators following TI5. Only staying with the team for about one month, he was then picked up by MVP.Hot6ix, in December 2015.
Most recently the Koreans landed second place MPGL and 7-8th at MDL 2016.
