Brian “FLUFFNSTUFF” Lee and Jio “Jeyo” Madayag’s reinstated team FIRE swept compLexity Gaming, 3:0, in the ESL One New York Americas qualifiers’ grand finals. With the victory, they have secured their trip to New York to participate in the ESL One event at the Madison Square Garden, between October 3-4. The NA team will represent the region and compete against Evil Geniuses, Team Secret, Virtus.Pro, CDEC Gaming, Vega Squadron, Fnatic and one qualified team from China for the $250,000 prize pool.

FIRE demonstrated impressive skill and team-play during the grand finals best-of-five series, as they upset compLexity Gaming and swept through the TI5 participants, 3:0.
Both FIRE and compLexity were among the Level 1 invited teams for the ESL One New York NA qualifiers, and were seeded directly into the second round.
FIRE swept through ROOT Gaming, 2:0, and bested Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling’s team, Digital Chaos, 2:1, before advancing to the grand finals. compLexity went to the grand finals without suffering a single loss, as they swept through both the Canadian team Boreal and Jimmy “Demon” Ho’s team High Council of Wizards and Priests, 2:0.

ESL One New York
This year’s ESL One New York is shaping up to be one of the very best Dota 2 tournaments of this fall. The tournament will feature a starting prize-pool of $250,000 – almost double the final amount of last year’s event.
The event will take place at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, on October 3rd and 4th.

ESL One New York tickets
Tickets can be purchased online through the ESL website, at Ticket Master or at the Madison Square Garden Box Office.
Ticket prices have been reduced and refunds will be provided for those visitors who have already purchased their tickets.
Price changes
- Day ticket: $59 reduced to $39 ($20 refund)
- Weekend ticket: $89 reduced to $59 ($30 refund)
- Premium ticket: $269 reduced to $169 ($100 refund)
Refund process
Refunds will only be given at the event itself, on October 3rd and 4th. In order to claim any refunds, ticket holders who purchased their tickets before August 4th will need to visit the ESL Shop at the Madison Square Garden Theater with proof of purchase and ID.
