The ESL One Seeding Phase will take place today in a LAN setting in Frankfurt, Germany. Team Secret, Alliance, Evil Geniuses, Cloud 9, Fnatic, Invictus Gaming, Vici Gaming, and Virtus.Pro will compete to determine their seeding for the main event, which will take place between June 20-21.
The eight teams will compete to determine their seeding for the main event. For this seeding phase of the event, teams have been sorted by their JoinDota ranking, two weeks prior to the event, on June 4. Seeding matches will be strictly used for the purpose of placement in the main event, so there will be no eliminations during this phase. All seeding games will be best-of-one series.
The top three seeded teams will take turns choosing their opponents for the main event bracket from the teams that were seeded 5-8th. The fourth team will be matched against the remaining team left unpicked by the top three.
The first matches of the day will be played at the ESLTV studios, at 10:00 CEST:
- Team Secret vs. Alliance
- Evil Geniuses vs. Invictus Gaming
