Last night in the ESL One Frankfurt 2016 EU open qualifiers, Fantastic Five, Team Empire and PRIES made the cut to advance to the regional qualifiers. The three teams will be joining the Go4Dota 2 March Finals winner – Danish Bears – and eight invited teams to compete for one of three spots for ESL One Frankfurt 2016. The invited regional teams have not been announced yet. The regional qualifiers begin tomorrow, April 4th and are expected to end April 11th.

ESL One Frankfurt 2016 EU open qualifiers began and concluded all in one day. With over 153 teams competing, three teams were left standing after more than eight hours of qualifying matches. Fantastic Five, Team Empire and PRIES Gaming have advanced into the main regional qualifiers that will begin tomorrow, April 4th.
The teams battled it out with the likes of YeS, ProDota Gaming, No Lifer5, Defiance Gaming and Kaipi to gain their spots.
Danish Bears have advanced into the regional qualifiers after becoming the Go4Dota 2 March Finals winners.
Eight teams have been directly invited to participate in the main regional qualifiers. The teams have not been disclosed as of yet.
ESL One Frankfurt 2016
ESL One Frankfurt 2016 closes out the $1,000,000 pledge to Dota 2 and brings the festivities back to Germany in June 2016 with a $250,000 starting prize pool featuring eight of the best teams from around the world. It continues to maintain a focus on fan and onsite activity and viewing experience. The event will return to Commerzbank-Arena June 18th and 19th
