EPICENTER Moscow Wild Card results are in! Newbee and compLexity will advance into the main event tomorrow. Fnatic and No Diggity were eliminated from the competition. Newbee and compLexity will join up with Team Secret, Team Liquid, OG, Evil Geniuses, Virtus.Pro, and Alliance to compete for a total prize-pool of $500,000 at Crocus City Hall in Moscow between May 10-15th. The first matches begin at 09:00 CEST with OG vs Alliance and EG vs Virtus.Pro.

Newbee continued their winning streak with an astounding and recording breaking 25 consecutive wins. The Chinese team advanced into the main event once without dropping a single match to both compLexity Gaming and No Diggity. They were the first team to advance into the main event. Newbee’s new team continues to be a force to be reckoned with and have displayed superior drafting, individual performances and team synergy.
Fnatic was the first team to be eliminated from the event after falling to No Diggity and then compLexity 2:1.
No Diggity and compLexity were left to fight it out for the last spot. In a convincing 2:0 sweep, compLexity Gaminging seized the second wild card spot for the main event. compLexity continues to impress and rise to the occasions, advancing their reputation and their footing as fearsome opponents.

Upper Bracket Semi Finals coL vs Newbee
The series between the North America power house team and the Chinese stars gave Newbee another two clean and clear victories in their pockets. Continuing to ride high coming off their winning streak that gave them a spot in the Manila Major, Newbee continued to impress and dominate in all of their matches. Chen “Hao” Zhihao topped the net-worth charts in both games, with his first game being on an unconventional hero for Hao – Lone Druid. The first game was over in less than 30 minutes and was a complete shut out on the North Americans. The second game was less one sided and had more action, lasting just under one hour.

Upper Bracket Semi Finals No Diggity vs Fnatic
The first official matches with the new lineup Fnatic were against the first official matches at a LAN for No Diggity. Both teams had a lot to prove. The first match was heavily in favor of Fnatic right from the beginning. The Malaysian squad shut down Batrider and Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung had a fantastic game on Lifestealer. The second game was a complete turn around both both teams, with No Diggity taking the lead and control from the start and crushing Fnatic. Adrian “Era” Kryeziu had a flawless game on Slarder and Max “qojqva” Bröcker’s Shadow Fiend was stellar. The European team pushed the series to a deciding third game. The final game was all No Diggity again, despite the LifeStealer pick up for Mushi. Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann’s Faceless Void was flawless and the team was able to gain the match and series victory.

Upper Bracket Finals Newbee vs No Diggity
Newbee’s winning streak continued into their upper bracket series against No Diggity. With their clean sweep of the Europeans, the Chinese stars have set a new record for most consecutive wins. The first match started relatively even until the early mid game when Newbee started to take their control and maintained it for the duration of the game. Zhang “Mu” Pan had a phenomenal game on Viper, going 15:0:9 by the end. The Bristle Back -Io combo lineup for Newbee in the second match was too much for No Diggity to handle and Newbee easily took their final victory in just under 30 minutes.

EPICENTER Moscow Wild Card results Upper Brackets finals:Newbee 2:0 compLexity. Newbee advanced to the main event as the first wild card team. No Diggity dropped to the lower brackets.
Lower Bracket Round 1 coL vs Fnatic
compLexity Gaming took the first game of the elimination series. The North American squad shut down both Tusk and Beast Master and despite Mushi being the most farmed hero in game on Anti Mage, compLexity was able to play around him and take the win. Fnatic pushed back in the second game and despite an incredible combo from compLexity, they were not able to secure the win. The tied up series forced a deciding third game. Game 3 saw compLexity going with an Axe pick while Fnatic went with a Bristle Back-Io combo. Linus “Limmp” Blomdin had a fantastic game on the Axe pick as the counter to Fnatic’s lineup. Winter Wyvern and Axe both going jungle has been an unconventional strategy that seemed to work well for them in the end. compLexity took the win convincingly and seized the series.

Lower Bracket Finals No Diggity vs compLexity Gaming
The first game of this series gave compLexity’s Zakari “Zfreek” Freedman his famed Enigma and went with a Drow Ranger strat for Rasmus “Chessie” Blomdin. While No Diggity took the lead in the early to mid game, once compLexity’s heroes were farmed they took over the first four spots on the net-worth chart and overpowered the Europeans to take the first win. The second game was all compLexity’s. They easily took control and dominated the game until their victory.

EPICENTER Moscow format
May 9th – Offline Qualifier
- Held at a prestigious hotel in Moscow.
- One team from each region will participate.
- Four teams will compete for the two spots available in the group stage.
May 10th-11th – Group Stage
- Eight teams will compete – six invited teams and two coming from the offline qualifiers.
- Top two teams from each group will advance into the Upper Brackets of the main event.
- Bottom two teams from each group will start the main event in the Lower Brackets.
- The group stages will be closed to the public and, just like the offline qualifier, they will be held at a prestigious hotel in Moscow.
May 12th-15th – Main Event
- All series will be best-of-three.
- The Grand Finals will be best-of-five, with not Upper Bracket advantage.
- The main event will take place at the Crocus City Hall, in Moscow. Tickets will go on sale in early April.

Crocus City Hall is a multi-faceted venue, located in the 3rd pavilion of Crocus City in Moscow, Russia. It has a seating capacity of more than 7000. The arena is equipped with a state-of-the-art acoustic system.
