Elements Pro Gaming is a new Russian eSports Club that includes Dota 2 team featuring Maxim “yoky” Kim. The club is being spearheaded by Russian Grand Chess Master and Dota 2 aficionado Ian “FrostNova” Nepomniachtchi. Thus far the organization has squads in Dota 2 and in Hearthstone.
New team and club, Elements Pro Gaming recently announced their debut effective December 1. The organization will be a multi-division club aimed at developing eSports in Russia.
The Director of Development is well known international Chess Grand Master, Ian “FrostNova” Nepomniachtchi. In addition to his merits in Chess, FrostNova is an avid Dota 2 fan and DotA player. He played alongside Vladimir “PGG” Anosov in 2011 to win the ASUS Cup Winter LAN 2011 and was the statsman for the Russian Hub at The International 5.
“Until recently, the Russian e-sports has developed an downward slide, the lack of systematic, professional management, resulting in frequent failures and the collapse of the teams in the international arena. Our goal is to create a professional eSports organization, which will enable young players to achieve the highest results in the international arena “- FrostNova.
The new organization will implement a new competitive training program. The training process will focus on teams actively developing both tactical and strategic direction. Professional chess trainer Vladimir Belov, who trained several World and European Chess champions, will take on the role of the coach.
The squad made an appearance in Dota Pit S4 EU Qualifier, besting Kaipi in the first round 2:1. They will play the second round tonight at 18:00 CET against ARC.
Following that series against ARC, they will then face them again at 21:00 CET for the Christmas Charity Magic event.
They competed in MSI Dragon Battle #9 last night, being eliminated in the first round by Team eEriness.

Ian “FrostNova” Nepomniachtchi is a Russian chess Grandmaster and the 2010 Russian Chess Champion. He was a member of the gold medal-winning Russian team at the 2013 World Team Chess Championship and at the 2015 European Team Chess Championship.
In addition he is known in the community as FrostNova. He is a professional Dota 1 pro player and has won a the ASUS Cup Winter LAN 2011 with Vladimir “PGG” Anosov in 2011, was the statsman for the Russian Hub at The International 5 and played with Duza Gaming in the Uprise Champions Cup Season 3 in September of 2015.

Vladimir Belov is a Russian chess Grandmaster (2003) and Moscow Champion in 2007. He has trained several World and European Chess champions in the past and will apply his skills and knowledge to Dota 2 competitive play.
