In the Dota 2 Canada Cup season 6 compLexity Gaming seized their championship crown and title over EWolves.
compLexity were able to defeat Digital Chaos 2:1 before they then took down Shazam 2:0. However, the squad was then swept to the lower brackets by EWolves. In the lower brackets they cleaned up Infamous (formerly team Unknown) 2:0 and claimed their place in the grand finals to reface EWolves. This time, the North American team would make sure that they didn’t take any chances to lose and destroyed the South American team 3:0.
The victory was significant for compLexity Gaming, having had recent struggles attaining results in their last three premier LAN tournaments – MDL Winter 2015, StarLadder iLeague and Game Show Global eSports Cup Season 1.
In two weeks the team will begin the group stage process of the Shanghai Major, hoping to change their luck and ignite the momentum and passion needed to obtain top results.
