As promised on April 5, when the organization announced the return of Ivan “Artstyle” Antonov and Glebk “funn1k” Lipatnikov, the team will now embark on an intensive eight day bootcamp, from April 14 until April 22. According to the organization’s release, the main goal will be to focus a lot on practice, both individually and as a team, creating synergy and working on communication.
The day after the newly reformed roster was official, Na’Vi went 1:1 versus Ninjas in Pyjamas in the Dota 2 Championship League. The team was already in last place of the group stage with a record of 4:10 and little hope of being able to progress. While they did not gain any merits from this match, the team appeared stronger with the new roster.
While in bootcamp, Natus Vincere will compete in the regional qualifiers for the Red Bull Battle Grounds, on April 16th. The team was invited along with ASUS.Polar, Hell Raisers and the recent MLG Champions, Team Empire. Only one team will qualify to attend the playoffs in California and have the opportunity to compete for the $75,000 prize pool in the grand finals.
