Evil Geniuses triumphed in the Americas Dota Pit League Season 5 qualifiers. There was little doubt that the TI5 championship team would find victory at the end of their road. The new roster clinched the allocated spot and will head to Croatia for the LAN event. Evil Geniuses will compete for the $125,000 base prize pool against seven other top teams from around the world in January.

Evil Geniuses have overpowered their American peers in the Americas Dota Pit League Season 5 qualifiers. The North American giants continue to reign at the top in their region as they took down compLexity Gaming and Team NP twice.
After TI6, long time captain Peter “PPD” Dager transitioned out of the team into a business management position with the brand. Andreas Franck “Cr1t-” Nielsen stepped into the rather large shoes left open with PPD’s departure and for the third time, Artour “Arteezy” Babaev dons the blue jersey for the organization.
The team already claimed their first championship title of the new season with this lineup at MDL 2016 in early October.
