Alliance will be replacing Virtus.Pro at the DreamLeague Season 6 playoffs. The Swedish team had missed the chance to advance after the season’s league play as they had slid into the fifth position. Virtus.Pro has cited heavy travel requirements before the Boston Major they qualified for. The playoffs will be held at DreamHack Winter – November 25 -26th in Jönköping, Sweden. $175,000 is up for grabs for the four teams expected to participate – Imperial Gaming, Escape Gaming, Team Liquid and Alliance.

With just over two weeks notice, Alliance will replace Virtus.Pro at DreamLeague Season 6 playoffs scheduled November 25 -26th in Jönköping, Sweden.
Virtus.Pro have withdrawn from the event due to a tight schedule and travel plans after qualifying for the Boston Major two weeks ago. Despite claiming a place at the Fall Major, they continued to play out the DreamLeague season.
This is the sixth team change to riddle DreamLeague this season – a chaotic and frustrating turn of events for organizers.
Sadly today Virtus.pro have left ASUS ROG DreamLeague Season 6 due to heavy travel in the coming weeks.
They are disqualified and therefore lose the $10,000 they won during league play, this will be redistributed into the playoff prize pool. The final score that Virtus.pro achieved during league play (10-4) will remain the same; they will not end with a 0-14 (similarly to Team NP), as they departed from season 6 after the league play was over. Alliance will be Virtus.pro’s replacement as they are fifth in the league. We are very thankful to Alliance who managed to step in at such short notice.
The season came to end only two days ago.
Virtus.Pro, Imperial, Alliance, Team Liquid, Vega Squadron, Escape Gaming and Ad Finem squared off for one of the four spots available in the playoffs.
Escape Gaming, Imperial and Virtus.Pro all ended the season tied with 10:4 record. Team Liquid slid into fourth place with an 8:6 record in the end. Alliance assumed the fifth place position with a 7:7 record.
