Contacted by DotaBlast, Jonas Öberg talked about Jesper “Frigoleet” Göthe’s return and the squad’s frustrating pursuit of a fifth player, while Frigoleet was unavailable:
We are very happy that Frigoleet has decided to start playing Dota 2 again, and join forces with his old teammates and friends. Back in December, we were very sad when he had to take a step back from Dota for real life stuff and we never really managed to fill that void he left more than temporarily. For the last couple of months, we have been trying out a lot of different players but never really found a perfect match. Having four very motivated and eager players, but never finding the fifth can be very tiresome. Frigoleet is that perfect match that we have been waiting for, both inside and outside of the game.
Frigoleet’s return will bring about a shuffle in positions:
Chrillee will move from offlane to carry, and eresloco will go from a fifth position support to offlane. This way, we will see the much feared support duo Steffstyle – Frigoleet once again striking terror in our opponents.
Lemondogs are currently competing in the joinDOTA League. According to Öberg, the all-Swedish team is driven by “high, long-term goals” and will try to attend as many tournaments as possible in the near future:
We are in a major scrim session as everyone else, trying to get everything settled, and looking for tournaments to come. The scene is naturarly kind of lacklustered when it comes to tournaments right now, but as it starts up again and the post-TI snooze ends, we will surely try to attend every tournament that we can. Our goals are high and long-term, we aren’t rushing.

4 Friends + Chrillee was founded when a group of friends decided to make the transition from HoN to Dota 2. The name started out as a joke when Chrillee was late for the meeting during which they were supposed to name the team. Christopher “Chrillee” Wåhlin has remained on the squad since the very beginning, through various versions of lineups.
4FC hit the spotlight for the first time at DreamHack Winter 2012, where they performed well against more established teams such as Evil Geniuses and No Tidehunter (The Alliance).
On April 13, 2015, the squad was picked up by Lemondogs – a well-known Swedish esports organization with rosters in LOL, COD, Shootmania, SC2, FIFA, and most notably CS:GO.
Since being signed, they managed to place 3rd-4th in the ESL ASUS Play It Cool tournament and second in the Serbian LAN Razer Think Fast Cup 2. It was before the Serbian LAN that Lemondogs parted ways with German player Mathis “Jabbz” Friesel and were seen playing with former 4FC player Carl-Philip “Strangby” Strängby as a stand-in.
