Manila Masters have announced the third team to accept their invitation.
Newbee’s roster from last season has continued to remain together for the new Kiev Major season.
After a disappointing 9-16th place finish at Boston Major and 5-10th place at World Cyber Arena 2016, the team rebounded back for second place at China Top 2016 and to claim the championship title for Dota2 Professional League Season 2 – Top.
The only performance in 2017 so far has been at ESL One Genting 2017, receiving the runner up spot behind Digital Chaos – enough to earn them a direct invite for the Kiev Major.
Eight of the best teams from all over the world will participate at the Mall of Asia in Manila, Philippines May 26-28th.
Evil Geniuses were the first team to answer the call to participate, now followed by OG before Newbee accepted. Two more teams will be directly invited, three teams will qualify.
Details on qualifiers and additional teams, as well as tickets will be forthcoming.
