WarriorsGaming.Unity roster has undergone changes already, just days after the rosters have been locked for Kiev Major season. Chua “KaNG” Soon Khong has parted ways with the team, leaving the team onto a road to Kiev through open qualifiers. Former player Neng “Wenn” Ee Wooi will be stepping into the offlane role.
Kang no longer in WG.Unity; Wenn taking over as offlaner. Which means that WG and Fnatic will both be playing in the SEA Open Qualifiers.

The WarriorsGaming.Unity roster has already been subject to a change – that will lead them to the open qualifiers for the Kiev Major. The rosters were locked on three days ago – January 9th.
Chua “KaNG” Soon Khong has been replaced with former teammate Neng “Wenn” Ee Wooi in the offlane position. Wenn last played support role from January to September 2016 and has not played on a team since.
The organization has not officially provided a statement as to the reasons, however the team fell short in ESL One Genting most recently. The squad failed to take a single series victory in the group stage, ending in last place and unable to progress into the playoffs.

Since August, the team has won at least five minor tournaments in the region.
The Malaysian team has participated in the SEA Manila Major regional qualifiers and TI6 SEA Regional qualifiers and Boston Major qualifiers – ultimately taking 5-8th place in the main event.
December was a busy month for the rising SEA team, taking 5 – 10th in World Cyber Arena 2016, first place in SEA Kappa Invitational Season 3 and Kings Dota2 Cup. They qualified for ESL One Genting 2017 through the special Malaysian qualifiers but ended in 7 – 8th at the LAN.
