Prodota Gaming roster has been once again rebuilt and centered around the captain and long term member Ylli “Garter” Ramadani.
After diligently looking and trying out players, we are excited about our new lineup. Joining our captain and carry player Ylli “Garter” Ramadani we welcome back to the ranks two familiar faces – Ivaylo “Mastermind” Petkov and Riku “Buugi” Fält (…) New to the team we welcome both Eugene “chshrct” Kastrama and Aydin “iNsania” Sarkohi.
Mastermind had previously played for the organization for several months during the summer 2016, but was forced to take a break due to a wrist injury. After a few months of treatment and healing he has returned to the midlane for the squad.
Buugi also played with the squad, in the late spring. He had parted ways with the organization when he enlisted in the Finnish army for his service. After returning from his time there, he has rejoined the organization to assume the support role.
chshrct is most known for his time on Power Rangers. The offlane player from Belarus was with his previous team for over three years – since starting his career in 2013.
New to the organization and the scene overall is iNsania who is an ex HON player from Sweden. The support player made the switch in 2016 and played for Team Doge and SOLIDUDES.
Prodota Gaming
The organization has recently branched off of their original CIS project and switched gears into being a European extension. Since transitioning into a full European team, Prodota have been climbing their way back to success.
At the end of June, just in time for The International 6 Open Qualifiers, Prodota Gaming underwent a full overhaul of their roster to be centered around carry player Ylli “Garter” Ramadani. They recruited Linus “Kefka” Bleckert and Malthe “Biver” Winther, at the end of July. Two weeks later, Alexandru “ComeWithMe” Crăciunescu and Jure “Pingvincek” Plešej stepped in for the squad.
After much uncertainty surrounding the Fall Major season, the Prodota roster was secured and locked. When Armand “bOne7” Pittner missed the drop deadline by mere hours, ComeWithMe became mistakenly locked into Kaipi, instead of Prodota Gaming. Valve took action and settled team registration issues.
The team shocked the scene and set a new trend when they didn’t compete for the Boston Major European open qualifiers, but instead participated in the open qualifiers for the Americas. In the first of the two qualifiers they seized a place in the Boston Major Americas regional qualifiers – ultimately failing to advance to the main event.
In the last few months, the team has had solid performances, winning championship titles (PD Cup EU #3, #8,#9 and #10), Dota 2 Stars Arena – placing second in PD Cup #4, Game On Invitational #2, joinDOTA League Season 10, Elements Cup #2 and Dota 2 Offense, and third in WellPLay Invitational #4, Dota 2 Champions League Season 8. Treasure Arena #1 and AOC Dota 2 Cup.
In November the team merged with the remanants of Kaipi including Armand “bOne7” Pittner and Neta “TheCoon/33” Shapira and traveled to China to take fourth place at WCA 2016.
