DreamLeague Season 6 LAN Finals were entertaining and riveting, culminating into a ‘miraculous’ winner bracket series to end their night.
Claiming a perfectly executed and flawless run, Team Liquid’s Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi gave the performance and play of a lifetime in the upper bracket finals against Alliance. A clutch escape – turned baited blink – into a courier snipe – then base tower damage before relocating out was an incredible 9k mmr sequence of events.
Team Liquid were the first team to advance to the Grand Finals.
Earlier in the night, Imperial Gaming were the first and only victims to end their run at DreamLeague Season 6 LAN Finals so far. After falling to Team Liquid in the upper brackets 2:0, they then were outlasted and bested by Escape Gaming 2:1 in the lower bracket elimination series. Despite taking the first match with relative ease, the following two games took over an hour for Escape to close out the series with their win.
Alliance and Escape Gaming will go head to head in the lower bracket elimination series today. The loser will go home with $30,000, the winner will move on to face Team Liquid in the grand finals.
