After failing to qualify for the forthcoming Boston Major, TNC Gaming have bid farewell to two of their players – Mark “Cast” Pilar and Linuel “Teehee” Abanto – earlier today. The organization has reached this decision “because of the simple fact that the team didn’t fit well together”.
According to TNC’s announcement, Carlo “Kuku” Palad, Sam “SamH” Hidalgo and Ryo “Ryoyr” Hasegawa will hold the fort and the organization is currently on the lookout for “new talents that will best suit the dynamics of our team”.
We want to thank Mark ‘Cast’ Pilar and Linuel ‘Teehee’ Abanto we greatly appreciate the time and efforts that you spent with us these past few months. We came to this decision because of the simple fact that the team didn’t fit well together, both of them are talented players and we wish them good luck in their future endeavors in the professional Dota 2 scene. Moving on, Carlo ‘Kuku’ Palad, Sam ‘SamH’ Hidalgo and Ryo ‘Ryoyr’ Hasegawa will still be playing under the TNC Pro Team banner and as for Teehee’s and Cast’s replacement we’re still looking out for new talents that will best suit the dynamics of our team.
Earlier this year, TNC stormed through The International 6 open qualifiers all the way up to Top 8 in thrilling fashion. Despite the indisputable achievement, the team still fell victim to roster changes during the post-TI shuffle.
Sam “Sam_H” Enojosa Hidalgo and Carlo “Kuku” Palad were the only two members left standing back in September. Ryo “ryOyr” Hasegawa and Mark “Cast” Pilar were brought in from Rave and Mineski, respectively.
At the same time, John Linuel “Teehee” Abanto rejoined the team he had parted ways with in June, due to “sudden differences in goals and objectives in the team”. The player was on and off the team since August 2015.
TNC current roster:
Carlo “Kuku” Palad
Samson Solomon “SamH” Hidalgo
Ryo “ryOyr” Hasegawa
