ESL One Genting qualifiers: Open and regional information

ESL One Genting qualifiers are gearing up to start. The open qualifiers registration is now open and will begin on October 21st. Four teams per each region – EU, NA, SEA will advance to the regional qualifiers. Winners will join eight invited team in each region to compete for one slot for the main event. ESL One Genting will take place The Genting Highlands resort area in Malayisa January 6-8, 2017 with a $250,000 prize pool. Malaysia and Chinese qualifier information to be announced at a later date.

ESL One Genting qualifiers format and dates have been announced.

North America, SEA and Europe ESL One Genting open qualifiers will be taking place October 21st and 22nd. Dates for Malaysia and China will be announced forthcoming.

Four teams from each region will advance to the ESL One Genting main regional qualifiers to join eight directly invited teams. Only one winner from each region will qualify to attend the main event in The Genting Highlands resort area in Malayisa January 6-8, 2017.

Fnatic is the first team to accept an invite to ESL One Genting 2017.

ESL One Genting

In July ESL One announced their return to SEA region with ESL One Genting to be held in The Genting Highlands resort area in Malayisa. The event is scheduled to take place January 6-8, 2017 with eight of the best teams competing for the $250,000 prize pool.

The newest of the ESL tournament settings is located in The Genting Highlands resort area of Malaysia, about one hour from Kuala Lumpur.

The event will take place at the Arena of the Stars. AOS is a part of a resort that includes multiple hotels, amusement parks, casinos & nightclubs that also features a 6,000 person capacity amphitheater.
