DreamLeague Season 6 teams: OG, EG, Liquid, Secret among invitees

The DreamLeague Season 6 teams have been announced. OG, Alliance, Evil Geniuses, Natus Vincere, Team Liquid, Team Secret, and Escape Gaming will square off for one of the four spots available in the playoffs.

The League will get underway on October 11th.

DreamLeague Season 6 will feature a $231,000 total prize pool – a $75,000 increase from last season.

The total prize pool will be distributed over the season and at the playoffs.

Eight teams will compete for one of the four spots available in the playoffs scheduled to be held at DreamHack Winter, in Jönköping, Sweden, between November 25th-26th.

The League segment will have a prize pool of its own: for each series won during the League Play, teams will be awarded $1,000.

A total of $56,000 will be allotted to the League Play segment alone, separate from the playoffs’ $175,000 prize fund.

The League will begin on October 11th and will continue using the same format as last season.

OG defended their DreamLeague championship title from season 4, after they absolutely shellacked Na’Vi, 3:0, in the Grand Finals. OG walked away with the title and a $50,000 paycheck. Na’Vi claimed the second place on the podium and a $25,000 prize.
