EternaLEnVy’s new brand and beginning – Team NP

Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao has revealed his new lineup and brand – Team NP. EE will be joined by former teammate Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling, former coach Theeban “1437” Siva, Arif “MSS” Anwar and Avery “SVG” Silverman. All five players have at one time or another played for Cloud 9 and are known throughout the NA region and internationally.

The big reveal of Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao’s new brand – Team NP has the community buzzing about the potential and promise of a new North American team.

EE will be assuming the mid lane position and taking on the role of drafter and captain.

Recently Eternal Envy had indicated he planned to make a new team, comprised of players not necessarily as known and made more with those he enjoyed playing with than stars. The new line-up still boasts known and respected players from across the region.

Former teammate from Speed Gaming turned Cloud 9 – Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling rejoins the Canadian for another season. Although the pair had a rocky and much scrutinized public break in January 2015 when Aui was removed from Cloud 9 – the two are back in action again together.

Playing alongside them is another trio of former Cloud 9 players – Theeban “1437” Siva, Arif “MSS” Anwar and Avery “SVG” Silverman. All three of these North American’s were part of the post TI5 Cloud 9 lineup from September 2015 – November 2015. The team was disbanded when 1437 went to Digital Chaos and then reformed as Shazam.

1437 has become infamous as a coach, leading Team Secret to back to back LAN wins in 2015 and helping them to claim the Shanghai Major. SVG received high praise for his role in coaching EG during the time leading up to and including TI6 while Aui signed on temporarily as a coach to Team Secret just prior to TI6.

Filled with experience from international stages, coaching top performing teams and already cultivated synergy the players and fans have high hopes for the new lineup.
