The Summit 5 LAN Day 3 has come to an end after another great day of performances and guest casting. Four teams fought to survive elimination – FDL, Digital Chaos, Na’Vi and Ad Finem. When the cards had been laid out on the table – FDL and Ad Finem were sent packing. Two teams – OG and Wings Gaming went head to head to claim the first spot in the Grand Finals. Wings Gaming triumphed over OG 2:0, taking their seat in the Grand Finals. The action resumes with the lower bracket elimination series. The Summit 5 LAN Day 3 yielded some incredible matches as has come to be expected of the popular event. The intensity multiplied as the first two teams were facing elimination.
Digital Chaos squared off against FDL in the North American survival series. With two fairly quick and one sided matches, Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok was at the helm of victory with two fantastic performances. The TI6 bound hopefuls – DC- had secured themselves another day of competition.
Na’Vi vied with Ad Finem for the rights to compete further. A thrilling and nail-biting first game lasted 73 minutes before Na’Vi could claim the victory. It was then followed up by a short and to the point second win for the Ukrainian team to knock the Greek squad out of the event.
Wings Gaming has once again proved that unconventional strategies, drafts and playstyle can overcome the best. OG suffered a 2:0 loss at the hands of the Chinese team. The cost of their results is a trip to the lower brackets – a place the team is not unfamiliar with making stunning rebounds from.
The action resumes with more elimination rounds as Team Liquid faces Digital Chaos to start wrapping up the final two days of the event.

Digital Chaos vs FDL Lower Bracket Round 1 elimination series
Digital Chaos bested their North American counterparts – FDL 2:0. The two game series highlighted Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok’s talent as he skillfully played Drow Ranger and Sven to carry his team to victory.
Ad Finem vs Na’Vi Lower Bracket Round 1 elimination series
Na’Vi and Ad Finem were locked in a 73 minute all out battle for the first match. Danil “Dendi” Ishutin on sandking was a treat for viewers as Dmitry “Ditya Ra” Minenkov dominated on Terrorblade. After the grueling intensity of the first game, the second game was over relatively quick and fairly one sided as Ditya Ra’s Ember Spirit was on fire. The Ukrainian victory of 2:0 in the series has fueled their progression towards success another day.
Wings vs OG winner bracket finals
Wings Gaming knocked OG down into the lower brackets after their 2:0 sweep over the Europeans. The Chinese team took control and maintained it for the duration of both games with ease. With Chu “Shadow” Zeyu and Zhou “bLink” Yang again being the show stoppers, Wings continues to be a cut above the rest.
