VOID Boys edged out EG Bulba 2:1, in the finals of TI6 NA Open Qualifiers 2.
It was an incredibly long night of playing for the Americas teams. Besides a long string of games played, the brackets had to be rolled back after an administrative mistake of advancing the wrong team. The Grand Finals for the TI6 NA Open Qualifiers 2 ended while SEA and EU regional qualifiers were already underway.
The newly revamped team was eliminated early in the first round of TI6 NA Open Qualifiers – failing to advance beyond round of 64.
The Canadian/US mix came back for the TI6 NA Open Qualifiers 2 with sheer determination.
The America’s team grabbed the second TI6 NA Regional Qualifiers spot. The team was forced to register for the open qualifiers when they became ineligible for a direct invite into the Regional Qualifiers for Americas, due to roster changes made outside the transfer window.
For the Manila Major the team had a roster consisting of Canadian and Chinese players and tried their hand at the SEA regional qualifiers. After not seeing success, the team was reformed with players from America and Canada.
VOID Boys will go up against Digital Chaos, FDL, compLexity, Vultur, Drinking Boys and Evil Geniuses. The qualifiers are scheduled to take place between June 25th-28th.

VOID Boys
Void Boys is a Canadian team established in November of 2014. The team placed third at the Battle of America and first in CEVO Season 6 Open Division 2.
The team has had several roster changes and reformations over the last year starting when Zheng “PatSoul” Yukai left for Team Tinker for three months and then returned to Void Boys for only one month before departing only to come back again.
The team tried their hand with the Canadians playing with some Chinese players for the SEA Manila Major qualifiers but after no success the team was reformed in time for the TI6 qualifiers with an American and Canadian mix.

(868 comments)Well they deserved it after that Yawar BM in a 100 min long game against BSJ’s team. Glad they lost, and they lost in the finals.
