The Manila Major main event brackets have been drawn. The teams, managers, talent and crew gathered together only moments after the final Manila Major Groups C and D series to draw the brackets for the main event. With all four groups having been played out and a two-day break before the main event, teams have been given their first opponents. The Manila Major main event begins on June 7th, at 04:00 CEST, with the Upper Brackets best-of-three series between Team Liquid and MVP Phoenix.

Teams and all Dota 2 enthusiasts were anxious to receive the final reveal of the Manila Major main event brackets. Gathering together for the drawings after the last series of Groups C and D, the teams were given their first opponents for the main event. The Manila Major will be on break for two days, with the main event starting on June 7th, at 04:00 CEST.
Twelve teams – Na’Vi, Team Liquid, MVP.Phoenix, OG, Wings Gaming, compLexity Gaming, Alliance, Mineski, Evil Geniuses, ViCi Gaming.Reborn, Team Secret and Team Empire – will play in the first day of the main event.
The second day will start out with the four remaining teams – Newbee, Digital Chaos, LGD Gaming and Fnatic – before heading further into the Lower Bracket rounds.
The Manila Major main event
The Manila Major main event will take place between June 7-12th, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. Viewers and visitors are in six days of action. The Grand Finals will take place on Sunday, June 12th.

Format
Sixteen teams will play a double-elimination bracket.
Eight teams (top two teams of each of the four groups) will start the main event in the Upper Bracket. Eight teams (bottom two teams of each of the four groups) will start the main event in the Lower Bracket.
All the Upper Bracket match-ups will be best-of-three series.
The first two rounds of the Lower Bracket matches will be best-of-one elimination series. The following rounds will be best-of-three elimination series.
The Manila Dota Major Grand Finals will be best-of-five series, with no winners’ advantage.
