Team Liquid have continued to display superior drafting, coordination and plays. Without dropping a single match in the entire event, they have confidently advanced into the Grand Finals.
Team Empire showed up with their completely new roster amidst many questions regarding their potential. After running through the star-studded Team Secret twice to advance to the semifinals, all doubts about their strength and their budding future have been erased. Team Empire has proven they are a formidable force for any opponent.
Wings Gaming soared above the competition earlier today in the ESL One Manila semifinals, eliminating Fnatic, 2:1, and advancing to the Grand Finals.

Team Liquid vs. Team Empire
Team Liquid went with a Lone Druid for Adrian “FATA-” Trinks on mid lane and countered Team Empire in their lineup each step of the way. The first game was incredibly intense with fantastic plays between both sides and the fights and leads swinging back and forth in the first 20 minutes, but the CIS team started to have trouble taking the fights and Team Liquid outplayed them to victory.

In the second game, Team Empire drafted Spectre for Roman “Ramzes” Kushnarev and a Legion Commander for Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov. Team Liquid took the early lead, but a fantastic fight by Team Empire evened things out again. Lasse “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen’s Anti Mage was too much for the CIS team to handle and Team Liquid wiped through them to the Grand Finals.
