WePlay Dota 2 League Season 3 LAN last direct invite has been accepted by Team Spirit. The CIS team will now join OG, EG, Virtus.Pro, Team Liquid, Fnatic, EWolves and Vega Squadron to compete for the $200,000 base prize pool. The playoffs are scheduled to take place at the International Exhibition Hall in Kiev, Ukraine April 29-May 1st.

WePlay Dota 2 League Season 3 LAN last invited has been accepted and confirmed by Team Spirit.
In January, WePlay League announced their return for season three.
Eight teams – EG, OG, Team Spirit, Virtus.Pro, Fnatic, Team Liquid, Ewolves and Vega Squadron will compete in the LAN playoffs set to be held in Kiev, Ukraine April 29-May 1st for the $200,000 prize pool.
Although the CIS team participated in the WePlay Season 3 LAN EU East Division qualifiers they did not advance to the LAN playoffs. Team Spirit took second place in their group with a record of 10-4, falling behind Vega Squadron.
Despite having fallen short of advancing, the organizers have now extended them an invitation along. Of the four invited teams -EG was the first to accept their invitation. OG, Virtus.Pro and Team Spirit have since confirmed.
Season 2 was held in 2013 with Na’Vi being crowned the champions after besting Alliance 3:2. The CIS team walked away with the $25,000 first place prize.

Online qualifiers
- The series was scheduled to take place January, 18th – March, 31st
- There were 4 regional qualifiers with 8 invited participants each
- Double round robin format
- Best-of-one series
- One team from each region advanced to the LAN playoffs
- Ewolves, Team Liquid, Vega and Fnatic advanced to the LAN playoffs
LAN finals
Evil Geniuses was the first confirmed invite. OG, Virtus.Pro and now Team Spirit are now confirmed on the organzation website.
The LAN finals will be held in Kiev, Ukraine at the International Exhibition Hall April 29-May 1st.
- 4 qualified and 4 directly invited teams will compete

- Grand Finals best-of-five series
WePlay Dota 2 League Season 3 prize pool distribution:
The prize pool can be increased by cosmetic set and ticket sales. The share is 10% of total sales; the share of ticket sales is 20% of total.
***Teams, including manager, will also receive:
- a paid flight and other travel expenses
- a hotel ranked at least 4stars
- meals 3 times/day
- a practice area with 5 PCs per team
- a private players lounge
