Dota 2 Stars Arena crown ProDota Gaming the champions after they bested Power Rangers in decisive fifth game. Without the benefit of a winner bracket advantage, the series played out in all five games. The CIS team was down two games before staging their comeback to sweep through the last three games to victory.

Dota 2 Stars Arena witnessed ProDota Gaming rise from the ashes of a 0:2 deficit to become the champions of the event. Without a winner bracket advantage, all five games were played out to determine the victor.
After being down two games, the CIS team struck back with a win to push the series another game. On the heels of their momentum, they took the fourth game in an action packed and exciting match, forcing the deciding game. ProDota Gaming continued to ride their high and took the third game relatively easy from the Belarus based team.
Power Rangers had entered the Grand Finals after besting Averia and sweeping through COOKISS and T.RoX.
ProDota Gaming had a long road to the grand finals. They were dropped to the lower brackets in the first round by qualified team TBE. In the lower brackets they received a def win against HellRaisers, who had withdrawn from the event due to roster changes. They then re-faced TBE, sweeping through them before besting COOKISS and T.RoX to advance to the grand finals.
Less than three weeks ago ProDota Gaming confirmed their new lineup to include three new players joining Vladimir “Rodjer” Nikogosyan – Dmitry “Ax.Mo” Morozov Arsenij “ArsZeeqq” Usov and Ylli “Garter” Ramadani.
Dota 2 Stars Arena main event
On February 29th a new minor online tournament, Dota 2 Stars Arena, started. It featured eight teams competing for the $5,000 prize pool.
The event will begin with the closed qualifiers taking place between February 29th-March 1st. TBE advanced to the main event.
