The day starts with the best-of-three series between Evil Geniuses and LGD Gaming, at 08:00 CET. The next matches won’t take place until 14:00 CET between Team Liquid and Alliance. Evil Geniuses, LGD Gaming, Team Liquid and Alliance will all be competing to proceed to the semi finals and remain in the event.
Two teams will fight to stay alive and see another day at the StarLadder iLeague StarSeries. Two teams will end their journey today and walk away with $30,000 each.

Alliance were able to secure the first win of the series against Team Liquid with an unbelievable game by Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg on Weaver. After having the lead, Alliance seemed to lose it about 28 minutes in. In the span of 10 minutes Alliance turned it around to gain back the almost 5k deficit and lead, but they also went on to destroy Team Liquid’s chances just 6 minutes later, ending with a 20k gold advantage as well.
The second game gave AdmiralBulldog another signature hero of his, Lone Druid, Gustav “s4” Magnusson his batrider and Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka his EarthSpirit. In a matter of 28 minutes, Alliance completely stomped Team Liquid and gave them no hopes of turning things around. With an overly fed Lone Druid and an incredible game for Jonathan “Loda” Berg on Juggernaut, Alliance swept through Team Liquid to advance further.

11:30 CET: StarLadder iLeague StarSeries semi finals standings: EG vs LGD Gaming
Evil Geniuses crushed LGD Gaming in the first game within 34 minutes with a score of 25:9 and a 19k gold advantage. Clinton “Fear” Loomis took his witch doctor hero to another level with incredible death wards. His role was instrumental in their victory as he ended with a 5:1:13 score.
The second game was 50 minutes long, filled with swings in momentum and leads. The Chinese veterans Liu “Sylar” Jiajun and Lu “Maybe” Yao continued to prove their worth with incredible games from both of them.
The third, deciding game, was heavily one sided as EG were able to take the lead from the start and maintain it easily. The North America Giants took the game in only 30 minutes. This will be the second time EG will advance to the Grand Finals in StarLadder Series.

The StarLadder iLeague Series LAN playoffs and finals will take place at the Minsk Arena, which is designed for holding international sports, cultural and entertainment events. The seating capacity of the arena is 18,000.
