Dota Pit Season 4 to include open qualifiers for NA and EU

With plans and promises for Dota Pit Season 4 to be bigger and better than all previous seasons, the organization has now included open qualifiers for NA and EU regions in addition to the invited qualifiers and the direct invites for the LAN finals. The open qualifiers will take place at the end of November. The winners will then proceed to continue their chance to attend the LAN in Croatia March 19-20th to compete alongside teams such as Virtus.Pro for a share in the $100,000 base prize pool.

Just a week ago, Dota Pit Season 4 has announced the venue of their tournament´s LAN Finals to be held in Split, Croatia at the Spaladium Arena March 19 and 20th.

Now, as part of the efforts to continue to expand and improve the event, open qualifiers have been scheduled for both the NA and EU regions. Closed qualifiers will follow the open qualifiers with dates to be determined. The Group stage then starts on December 1st 2015 and will run until February 28th. It has been previously confirmed that teams such as Fnatic, Na’Vi and Alliance have been directly invited to participate in the Group Stages.

All games best-of-one format

Sunday, 29th November:

Start time: 15:00 CET

Round 32 – Round 4 (Semi Finals) will be best-of-one

The top two teams will go through to the Closed Qualifier

LAN finals in Croatia at the Spaldaium Arena in Split, Croatia. The venue boasts a 10,000 seat capacity and was built in 2008 as a state of the art arena.
