Vici Gaming announced that their third squad – VGJ would be adjusting their roster to now include Xu “fy” Linsen and Liu “Freeze” Chang for the Kiev Major season.
According to the organization’s weibo account Fy and hym would be making an exchange, as hym would head to the main squad.
The official add phase of the Spring Major registration begins in approximately 11 hours – where the players will become locked into the roster until the end of the Kiev Major.
The news leaves many fans are hopeful to see a revive of the famed duo of Fenrir and Fy.
Of the 2016 VGJ roster, Bai “rOtk” Fan, Sun “Agressif” Zheng and Lu “Fenrir” Chao are the most notable players – creating a new roster that looks formidable on paper.
Fy started his career in 2012 with ViCi Gaming and has been a stable part of the team since. Forming a cohesive bond and synergy with Fenrir, the support duo has displayed time and time again incredible combos and rotations leading to outstanding plays and results for the team until their separation when Fenrir went to EHOME in March 2016.
Freeze began his career in 2014 and moved to EHOME in March 2015 – where he stayed with the organization and last played for EHOME.Luminous.

The team struggled to attain many notable achievements since inception and failed to appear at the Boston Majors – taking 5-10th in The Boston Major 2016 China Qualifiers.
VGJ did seize second place in the Dota2 ACE – Provisional and first in Dota2 Professional League Season 2 – Secondary.
