Virtus.Pro take on Ilya “ALOHADANCE” Korobkin to fill the final spot in Virtus.Pro. The young Ukrainian player will be joining ex-teammate Alexander ”NoFear” Churochkin and Maxim “yoky” Kim on their new team. Team Empire disbands are a result with the promise to be announcing a new roster soon.
Reshuffles continue to wreak havoc on the composition of rosters as teams get ready for the five month roster lock period, closing in only two days. Virtus.Pro have announced their fifth and final position being filled by Ilya “ALOHADANCE” Korobkin.
ALOHADANCE’s departure from Team Empire marks the complete disbandment of the CIS team. Team Empire promises to strike back with a new roster being announced soon.
Earlier today, Virtus.Pro announced the addition of both Alexander ”NoFear” Churochkin and Maxim “yoky” Kim to the roster, replacing Alexander “DkPhobos” Kucheria, and Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk. At the same time the team announced Airat “Silent” Gaziev had been moved to the substitute role and is currently inactive due to health issues.

Although the team came in a commendable 5th-6th place at last year’s International championship and walked away with close to 1.2 million dollars, they struggled after that to find acceptable results moving forward.
On December 2nd, Virtus.Pro replaced Ilya “Illidan” Pivcaev with Silent as an attempt to push past a 5-8th place stagnation. The new chemistry and roster worked for a period of time, with the squad taking the second place finish at The Summit 4 and the championship title at the D2CL Christmas Charity Magic tournament. However, lately, they have slipped back, claiming 7th-12th place at StarLadder iLeague, 7th-8th place in Captains Draft and 9-12th place at the Shanghai Major.
Virtus.Pro roster:
Sergey “God” Bragin
Maxim “yoky” Kim
Artem “fng” Barshak
Alexander “NoFear” Churochkin
Airat “Silent” Gaziev (substitute)
