ViCi Gaming receive death threats and ISIS videos

ViCi Gaming’s 2-0 loss to LGD, in yesterday’s VP Game Pro League, got supporters worked up to an aggressive extent. The Chinese organization claims to have received numerous death threats and ISIS videos.

ViCi Gaming have taken to Twitter to express their consternation:

Getting death threats and isis videos in our inbox for our loss yesterday. You people are mentally ill.

The unbridled rage gone over the edge could be a reaction to lost bets.

EG’s captain, Peter “ppd” Dager, was also a recent victim of rabid fans’ death threats:

Death threats and Internet slurs are, sadly, old news to the sports scene. Vile hate and cyber-punches are the price players have to pay every so often, in order to reach their fans directly and promote their organizations.

ViCi Gaming faced their biggest rivals, LGD, in the Upper Brackets of yesterday’s VP Game Pro League play-offs. VG lost, 0-2, and has fallen into the competition’s Lower Brackets, where they will have another chance at retribution.
