Team Malaysia have qualified for ESL One Frankfurt. The Malaysians steal yet another LAN final spot and a shot at the $250,000 prize pool. MY has been on a winning streak, securing themselves placements in Red Bull Battle Grounds, StarLadder StarSeries Season XII and, most recently, in China’s i-league.

MY swept Mineski, 2-0, in the best of three grand finals of the ESL One SEA qualifiers, earlier today. Mineski had also lost to Team Malaysia earlier this week in the i-League grand finals.
ESL One Frankfurt
MY will compete for the $250.000+ prize pool, June 20-21, in Frankfurt, Germany and will join the three invited teams – Team Secret, Evil Geniuses and ViCi Gaming, and the already qualified ones – The Alliance and ASUS.Polar.
Still remaining for the European Qualifier is the Team Empire versus Cloud 9 match, to be played on April 30, winner of which will move forward to face Na’Vi in the Lower Brackets.
The Chinese semifinals will be played today between Invictus Gaming and LGD. The winner will move on to the finals to face Newbee.
Team Malaysia
MY has been on a winning streak, securing themselves placements in Red Bull Battle Grounds, StarLadder StarSeries Season XII and, most recently, in China’s i-league and taking first place in both CORSAIR Gaming Event and GEST-SEA-CUP, since parting ways with E-Home.cn, on March 26. The team is looking very strong and confident leading up to the days for The International 5 invites and qualifiers.
Team Malaysia will attend DreamHack Bucharest for the StarSeries Season XII playoffs and finals, where they will be facing Team Secret in their first round, on April 24, at 15 CEST.
