The DreamLeague Season 4 qualifiers experienced a slight delay due to the numerous issues with the Steam Servers. The first phase of the open qualifiers was completed and the second phase has resumed tonight with one match between Princess Jellopy and 4CL. The finals between HellRaisers and 4CL will be rescheduled for a later date to determine the eighth and final team to join the DreamLeague Season 4 League Play.
While seven teams were invited to participate in the event, the eighth team to complete the league will be determined through a two-stage open online qualifier. 135 teams competed in the best-of-one open qualifier series for the chance to become one of the four teams to advance to the second phase.
Scaryfacezzz, HellRaisers, Aspera and Princess Jellopy (stack featuring Richard “Jellopy” Hill, Linus “Kefka” Bleckert, Jon “13abyKnight” Andersen, Malthe “Biver” Winther, and Sebastian “solen” Kjär) survived the first phase on September 18th and were scheduled to play against the four invited teams.
4C&L, newteam123123, Arcade.PowerRangers and CISR have been identified as the four invited teams to enter the competition in the second phase. The four invited teams and the four qualified teams were scheduled to compete in the best-of-three format for the one and only remaining spot to participate in DreamLeague Season 4 League Play.
The second phase of the DreamLeague Season 4 open qualifiers was the victim of numerous Steam Server issues that plagued the game client over the weekend.
The Server issues we had delayed the games, which interfered with other tournaments the teams were scheduled to play. We decided to reschedule for their sake. 4CL vs. Jello have one game remaining and the finals will be between HR and 4CL/Jello.

4CL faced Princess Jellopy in one match tonight to determine which team will advance to the finals. Alaan “SexyBamboe” Faraj and company have been on fire lately, winning last night’s Elimination Mode against Digital Chaos.
After defeating Jello tonight, they will advance to compete against HellRaisers for the final spot in the DreamLeague Season 4 League play. The finals series is yet to be scheduled, however the league is scheduled to begin September 29th.
