Team Faceless, Mineski, WG.Unity and Fnatic are headed to the Boston Major SEA regional qualifier playoffs.
With a flawless run in the group stage, Team Faceless take the top seed for the SEA Boston Major qualifier playoffs and appear to be holding all of the aces moving forward.
As a reward for their efforts, Team Faceless were allowed to choose their opponents moving forward. They went for WG.Unity. WG.Unity was the first SEA team to advance into the SEA Boston Major qualifier from the Southeast Asian open brackets.
During the group stage, Mineski seemed to come out of left field and rise above the heavily favored Fnatic. The Filipino team will go head to head with Fnatic.
Signature.Trust, TnC Gaming, Fire Dragoon E-sports, The Mongolz and Rex Regum didn’t make the cut and have ended their hopes for an appearance at the Boston Major.
Expected to be in the top four, TnC were not up to par and fell short, tying for 5th place with a 3:4 record. Rex Regum have ended their run without claiming a single win.

Boston Major Qualifiers format
The Boston Major Qualifiers format has been adjusted compared to previous Majors. This season, teams will be pitted against each other in a single group, instead of divided into two groups. Another significant change, teams will face each other in a best-of-one round robin. The top four teams in the group stage will advance to a best-of-three GSL-style playoffs bracket. Two teams per region will qualify for the Boston Major. Thus, there will be two phases to the Boston Major Qualifiers format: group stage and playoffs.

- 1st place team chooses 3rd or 4th place team as an opponent
- 2nd place team competes against remaining team
