PRIES Dota 2 team has disbanded after three months of competing together. The European squad that was playing for the Russian organization included Ivailo “Mastermind” Petkov from the previous squad, along with his brother and was managed by Co-founder of Balkan Bears, Alexandru “Sasha” Sîrbu. Internal tension and lack of results seems to have lead to the dissolution of the squad.

The PRIES Dota 2 team has split up after three months of competing together under the Russian organization’s banner.
According to the organization’s release on facebook, internal tensions and problems began to surface several weeks ago.
At the beginning there was good atmosphere in the team and guys performed very well. Unfortunately, some weeks ago began some problems within the team and players began to estrange. As a result – they decided to stop playing with each other for some time or to play for other teams as well

PRIES
PRIES is a Russian E-Sports organization with Dota 2 and CS:GO teams, as well as Hearthstone and Fifa players. They signed their first Dota 2 team in September of 2015 when they picked up the YeS roster of that time including Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov. Rostislav “fn” Lozovoi and Artur “Goblak” Kostenko joined the team shortly after.
The first squad had disbanded in late October and was replaced by a mix of players from Italy, Bulgaria, Serbia, and the Ukraine in December.
The most recent PRIES roster came on the heels of the previous roster’s departure, in February.
The lineup was comprised of relatively newer and less known players, including Bulgarian mid-player Ivailo “Mastermind” Petkov who joined the team at the end of January, as well as a Danish brother combo: Kenney “KyH” Hoang and Jimmy “supercell” Hoang.
The team was managed by the co-founder of Balkan Bears, Alexandru “Sasha” Sîrbu.
PRIES had a notable presence in many of the minor tournaments and regional qualifiers. Although their aim was the Manila Major and TI6, they typically had higher placement results. The team’s biggest success together was second place in Elements Cup #1 back in April.
PRIES roster:
Jimmy “supercell” Hoang
Ivailo “Mastermind” Petkov (captain)
Max “Mikey” Barkö
Ivan “Bashruk” Valev
Kenny “KyH” Hoang
