The Nanyang Championships schedule and talent lineup have been announced. The main event will take place in Singapore, between October 26 – November 1. Hosted by Dakota “KotLGuy” Cox, casted by Beyond the Summit talent and joined by Jorien “Sheever” van der Heijden on the analyst desk, the event is expected to be a first class experience.

The Nanyang Championships schedule and talent lineup have been released, as the biggest event in the SEA region starts to draw closer.
Only two days after the initial announcement that KeyTV will host the biggest Dota 2 LAN tournament ever held in Singapore, the organization has further revealed that the Nanyang Championships will have a base prize pool of $200,000. With the addition of 25% from all in-game ticket sales, it is already the largest prize purse for the region.
The tournament kicked off with four regional qualifying events, in September. The winners received invites to attend the LAN finals to be held in Singapore, at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, from October 26th to November 1st. The qualified teams join will join the six invited teams from around the world.

- 10 teams split into 2 groups
- Groups play Round Robin (Bo2)
- Top 2 advance to Upper Bracket
- 3rd & 4th place advance to Lower Bracket
- Last place of each group is eliminated
Octber 28th – 30th
- 8 teams compete in Double Elimination format
- Round 1 & Round 2 of the Lower Bracket (Best-of-One)
- All other matches are Best-of-Three
November 1st
- Grand Final (Best-of-Five)
- No Upper Bracket advantage

Cloud 9 were forced to pull out of the Nanyang Championships main event – due to Theeban “1437” Siva’s lack of time to sort out travel requirements – and will be replaced by the regional qualifiers’ runners-up, Digital Chaos.

- 1st place $100,000 + 48% crowdfunded amount
- 2nd place $50,000 + 24% crowdfunded amount
- 3rd place $25,000 + 12% crowdfunded amount
- 4th place $10,000 + 8% crowdfunded amount
