The three former Rave players from the Philippines – Djardel “Chrissy” Mampusti, Ryo “Ryoyr” Hasegawa and Mark “Cast” Pilar, will be joined by Marvin “Boombacs” Rushton and Marc “Polo” Fausto to play for the Philippine-based MSI-Evolution Gaming Team.
The announcement of the new roster and sponsoring organization was posted on the MSI-Evolution Gaming Team Facebook page, only two days after the three players revealed they were parting ways with the Rave organization.
Boombacs was listed on the roster for Team Rave when they registered to compete in the open qualifier for MPGL 7, a few days ago. He was the former captain and support player of Arcanys, in 2014, and most recently played for team Execration, abbreviated XctN.
Polo played for Mineski for two months, from January 2015 until March.
According to Mineski, the three Rave players were part of the MSI-EvoGT team before, when they were first named “Pag-ibig” and became the first champions of the MPGL Dota 2 tournament.
