Mousesports is the latest team to secure a spot at the MLG Pro League tournament held at the X-Games 2015 event in Austin, Texas, between June 5-7. The newly sponsored team defeated the reformed Summer’s Rift, 2:1. Summer’s Rift will compete against NAR for the final NA spot in the LAN event, worth $75,000.

Mousesports defeated VoidBoys, 2:0, in the first round, NAR, 2:1, in the second round and finally Summer’s Rift, 2:1, in the finals. Once defeated by Mouz, NAR dropped to the Lower Brackets and defeated Not Today, 2:0, and then ROOT Gaming, 2:0. With Rift’s loss and drop to the Lower Bracket finals, the two teams will now square off for the final qualifier spot.
Just over one week ago, the German eSports organization announced the sponsorship of North American Team Tinker. Although the negotiations and coordination between the two were already in the works before StarLadder Season XII, the official reveal was made just on the heels of The International 5 direct invite and qualifier announcement.
The team has been bootcamping and living together in a team house in Toronto, Canada for the last few weeks with the expectation that Max “qojqva” Bröcker will join the rest of the team upon completion of his studies for the summer.

The team recently participated in StarLadder Season XII being eliminated by Cloud 9, 2:0, in the Lower Bracket Round 3.
Upcoming Events
Mousesports has been invited to participate in the TI5 Americas Qualifiers, taking place between May 25-28th.
The team will be heading to China for the i-League finals in Shanghai. The North American team defeated Summer’s Rift in that series, 2:0 as well, for their playoff spot.
