The Manila Major Open Qualifiers registration is now open. Up to 1024 teams per region can compete for spots in the Regional Qualifiers. The Open Qualifiers will take place between April 29th and May 2nd, followed by the Regional Qualifiers, scheduled for May 3-6. All the Manila Major Open Qualifiers registration information and rules have been released by the two hosts – Faceit and ESL.
The Manila Major Open Qualifiers registration has been officially opened. The Open Qualifiers will take place between April 29th and May 2nd.
There will be two opportunities for teams from all four regions to compete in the Manila Major Open Qualifiers. The first Open Qualifier will take place on April 29th and 30th, while the second round is scheduled for May 1st and 2nd. Teams are able to register and participate in both rounds.
The Americas, Southeast Asia and Europe Manila Major Open Qualifiers will be hosted by Faceit, while the Chinese Open Qualifiers will be handled by ESL. The Manila Major Open Qualifiers registration is now open for all four regions.
The winning teams – two from each of the four regions – will advance to participate in the Manila Major Regional Qualifiers, which will take place between May 3-6.
The Manila Major – the third and final Major this season in advance of The International 2016 – will be produced by PGL, with the main event to take place between June 7-12 in the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. Sixteen teams will compete for a $3,000,000 prize pool.

Manila Major Teams
Teams were required to finalize and register their rosters by March 27th, in order to be eligible for the Manila Major direct invites or regional qualifier invites.
Teams that have broken the roster lock and made changes to their registered lineups will have to sign up for the Manila Major Open Qualifiers.
The teams that will be directly invited to the Manila Major and its Regional Qualifiers are expected to be revealed only one or two days prior to the Open Qualifiers. The Regional Qualifiers will kick off on May 3rd.

(64 comments)No, they never have. They open the registration for the Open Qualifiers first. Two or three days before the Open Qualifiers are supposed to start, they announce the direct and regional invites. So, they should announce them any minute now.
