The Frankfurt Major Open Qualifiers are coming soon. There will be TWO opportunities for up to 1024 teams to contend for an opportunity to qualify for the Regional Qualifiers.
All pertinent information, including registration and rules have been released, giving ample time to prepare for the open events being held on October 6th and 8th.

The first Dota 2 Major will be held in Frankfurt, Germany at the Festhalle Messe, from November 16th through the 21st. Sixteen teams will compete at the main event for a total prize pool of $3,000,000 and ESL will be in charge of production.
The Open Qualifiers will be hosted by FaceIt and Perfect World and will take place between October 6–9. The Open Qualifier registration will open on October 1st.
The winning teams will advance to participate in the Regional Qualifiers, which will take place between October 10-13.
Frankfurt Major Open Qualifiers
There will be two opportunities for teams and individual players to compete in the Open Qualifiers for the Frankfurt Majors. Two rounds of Open Qualifier dates have been set to be hosted – The first Open Qualifier will take place on 6th and 7th October, while the second Open Qualifier will take place on 8th and 9th October. Teams are able to register and participate in both sets of events.

Day 1 – Tuesday, 6th October:

Rounds played: Round of 1024 (BO1), Round of 512 (BO1), Round of 256 (BO1), Round of 128 (BO1), Round of 64 (BO1).
Teams that didn’t sign up on time and solo players, will be able to sign-up 30 minutes before tournament starts if there are available slots left.
Day 2 – Wednesday, 7th October:
Rounds played: Round of 32 (BO1), Round of 16 (BO1). Round of 8 (BO1), Semi-Finals (BO3), Finals (BO3).
