Frankfurt Dota Major Chinese Qualifiers winners, Upper Bracket finals
Newbee 2:0 Invictus Gaming – In the first game, Invictus Gaming grabbed Alchemist but it wouldn’t be enough for them to claim a victory. Newbee did a great job in keeping their opponents in check and controlling the map. With a stellar performance by MuZhang “Mu” Pan on Templar Assassin and strong team play, coordination and combos, they were able to put pressure on the map everywhere, push through quickly and overpower IG in 39 minutes, with a score of 25:3.
The second game lasted for over an hour. Despite a great game by Luo “Ferrari_430” Feichi on Ember Spirit, Hao’s farm on Gyrocopter paired with a well executed Lina became too much for IG to handle.
- Frankfurt Dota Major Chinese Qualifiers winners: Newbee have secured their spot at the Frankfurt Dota Major. Invictus Gaming were sent to the Lower Brackets to compete for the remaining available spot.

Newbee.Young 0:2 Invictus Gaming – Invictus Gaming easily took the first game from Newbee.Young. They were able to successfully shut down the Ember Spirit from gaining the needed farm and Ferrari_430 had a flawless game, outplaying and overpowering midlane. Wong “ChuaN” Hock Chuan’s Lion was also flawless and did quite a bit of damage, bringing the team to win in 38 minutes.
The second game was also pretty one sided with Invictus Gaming being able to take the lead early and keep it. With an overwhelmingly farmed Juggernaut, and the mobility and map control with Io and a Spirit Breaker, the veteran team was able to clinch the second victory.
- Frankfurt Dota Major Chinese Qualifiers winners: Invictus Gaming claimed the second spot for the Frankfurt Dota Major, after eliminating Newbee.Young, 2:0.
