The ASUS Play It Cool invitational tournament kicks off today at 11:30 CEST. The four invited teams – The Alliance, Virtus.Pro, Lemondogs and Ninjas in Pyjamas will be competing in an intimate LAN setting for the $30,000 prize pool.

ESL Gaming has announced the impromptu ASUS Play It Cool LAN tournament earlier this week. The ASUS Play It Cool Dota 2 segment is in conjunction with ESL’s Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone tournaments which commenced on May 1. The Dota 2 portion is the concluding segment and will be casted by William “Blitz” Lee, Austin “TheCapitalist” Walsh and current professional player Kai “H4nn1″ Hanbueckers. Salome “Soe” Gschwind Penski will take the host role.
ESL ASUS Play It Cool schedule
Matches will be played in a best of three single elimination format and can be followed on the ESL stream. There will be no access to the game through DotaTV.
- Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. Virtus.Pro at 11:30 CEST
- Alliance vs. Lemondogs at 14:00 CEST
- Finals to take place at 17:00 CEST
First LAN played on the 6.84 patch
ASUS Play It Cool will be the first LAN tournament to feature the new balance patch 6.84 and the new Alliance lineup.
