Team Secret has been confirmed as the second team to receive a direct invitation to the MLG World Finals. Secret will join Korean team MVP.Phoenix at the Ernest N. Morial Center in New Orleans, LA, between October 16-18. Eight teams – six directly invited and two qualified ones, will compete for a $250,000 base prize-pool.

Major League Gaming have announced the second directly invited team to their 100th event, the MLG World Finals. Team Secret will make the trip to New Orleans, where they will go up against MVP.Phoenix and six other teams yet to be determined for a share of the $250,000 prize purse.
After a disappointing eighth place finish at TI5, Team Secret announced a completely revamped roster on August 22nd. Clement “Puppey” Ivanov is the only original member remaining on the roster.
Jacky “Eternal Envy” Mao and Rasmus “MiSeRy” Filipsen formerly of Cloud 9, Omar “w33haa” Aliwi from 4CL, and Johan “pieliedie” Åström from Mousesports joined the ranks of the new roster.
Since being reformed, Team Secret have already received direct invitations to two LAN championships: ESL One New York and the Gaming Paradise. Team Secret will make their season’s LAN debut next week, during the Gaming Resorts LAN, the Gaming Paradise, scheduled to be held in Portorož, Slovenia, between September 10-12.

MLG World Finals
The MLG World Finals, Major League Gaming’s 100th event, will take place between October 16-18, at the Ernest N. Morial Center in New Orleans, LA.
The event will feature the best Dota 2 and Call of Duty teams in the world, competing for a total prize pool of over $500,000.
Tickets are available for prices ranging from $49 to $199.
MLG have concluded their most recent event – the MLG Pro League Season 2 LAN finals hosted at X-Games 2015 – on June 8th. Ninjas in Pyjamas won the title and $66,899 prize money, after defeating Alliance in the Grand Finals, 2:1.
