In the days leading up to TI5, eight invited teams – Burden United, Lemondogs, 4ASSC, London Conspiracy, Taco Life, Yellow Submarine, Scaryfacezzz and Team Alternate – will compete in the Hitbox Challenger by Razer tournament, for a prize pool of $5,000. The event kicks off tonight, July 19th, at 18:00 CEST, and ends on July 25th.

With a unique twist on the prize pool distribution and format, Hitbox Challenger by Razer will feature a $5,000 total prize pool distributed to teams in $300 increments, based on their victories. Winning teams will be given the chance to choose their next opponents. The format should prove to be a refreshing change from the traditional tournament structure and help keep things fresh leading into TI5. The first game starts today, on July 19th, at 18:00 CEST.
I always try to find niches in the market, bring the community action in times when nothing is going on, as well as promote tournaments, casters and teams of the T2 scene, which deserve to get exposure.
