Virtus.Pro claimed the coveted EU spot for the Summit 6, their first LAN for the new season. The newly revamped team will be heading to Los Angeles in November, as they overwhelmed Ad Finem, 3:1 in the region’s Grand Finals. The event is scheduled for November 16th-20th. Wings, Digital Chaos, Evil Geniuses and OG have been directly invited. Team Faceless from SEA and Team NP from NA have already qualified. One more team from China will join the festivities.
Congratulations to @TeamVirtuspro for taking the grand final 3-1 and qualifying for #TheSummit6. See you in November!

Virtus.Pro qualified for the Summit 6 to be held November 16th-20th in sunny Los Angeles, California.
The Russian-based team overpowered Ad Finem, 3:1, in the Grand Finals to take their place at the Summit 6. Ironically, last season Virtus.Pro took the series, 3:2, over Ad Finem but was replaced by the Greek squad when they knowingly and deliberately broke the rules. Vega Squadron’s Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko replaced VP’s Ilya “ALOHADANCE” Korobkin without announcing it to the admins.
Four teams have been directly invited to participate at the Summit 6 – Wings, Digital Chaos, Evil Geniuses and OG. Four other teams will qualify – one from each of the four regions – China, SEA, EU and NA.
SEA was the first of the regions to conclude the qualifiers, with Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang’s Team Faceless taking the allocated spot. Team NP seized the NA spot after an intense five-game series. The Chinese qualifiers are still underway.
