Cristian “Ppasarel” Bănăseanu will coach Team Romania for the World Electronic Sports Games (WESG).
A long time friend of Armand “bOne7” Pittner and a former DotA 1 player for The Elder Gods (TeG), Ppasarel coached Cloud 9 for The International 5.
After being a core member of the PGL production crew for the past five years, Ppasarel decided to take a break and dedicate all his time to coaching Kaipi and Team Romania.
Under Ppasarel’s guidance, Team Romania – featuring ComeWithMe, bOne7, Ar1se, Masakary, and iLLusionisT – has qualified for the WESG European LAN finals in Kiev, after cruising through the South-East Europe brackets without dropping a single game.
We’re currently bootcamping in Bucharest, at the DotaBlast house. We’ve done very well in scrims, so far. The team’s morale is high, we’ve got a pleasant atmosphere going and the players seem to perform quite efficiently together. From a tactical standpoint, our game is getting stronger and more harmonious with every day that goes by. We have every reason to be confident and we have high expectations for Kiev.
